Sugar Flowers Module  : 4,11,18,25 July and 1 August (Once a week)

The Intensive 5-day Course is specially for outstation participants as it would be a hassle to travel on a weekly basis.

The weekly course is specially for people who are working on weekdays and can come to class on weekends.

Nonetheless, all the lesson plans remains the same.

Course Fee:

  • RM2900 per module - Sugar paste

PME PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA/MASTERS CERTIFICATE IN CAKE DECORATION

The United Kingdom is the oldest and leading group of cake decorators, where many of the evolvement of new techniques and ideas in the cake decorating world originates and traditional ones are still practised till today and applied worldwide.

PME COMPANY BACKGROUND

¨       PME stands for Precision Machining Engineers, established in 1956

¨       Initially provided a range of engineering services to local business, supplied products and components such as medical and musical instruments

¨       In the early 1970s , it became involved in the cake decorating world when asked by the Army catering corps to produce 2000 stainless steel royal icing rulers

¨       This soon led to the formation of PME Sugarcraft Ltd, and has since gained a name in the industry for producing durable, precise and fine cake equipments, mainly used by the cake professionals.

¨       Almost every serious cake decorator would have at least 1PME modelling tool in their tool basket!

The Masters certificate is made up of 3 individual modules:

¨       A professional Diploma is awarded on completion of Each of the above module

¨       Each module is a complete separate course and it is not essential to complete all 3 modules

¨       However, on completion of ALL the 3 modules a MASTERS Certificate is awarded

¨       The courses are designed specifically for anyone anticipating selling cakes either to family & friends or as a commercial biz,

¨       It is a combination of Basic techniques and creative styling combined with a professional business approach, including pricing and costing guidelines and business essentials requirements

¨       The Masters certification is not a government accredited one but PME’s own award.

Module 3 - Royal Icing

NOTE:

Each module is a complete separate course and it is not essential to complete all THREE modules. The Masters Certificate will only be awarded as and when all THREE modules have been completed.
